Nurhayati Pujiastuti has written since she was in elementary school. She has worked as a news reporter, a supervisor in a communication company, a private tutor, and now she writes and publishes her works. Her writings have won some awards including the IKAPI IBF award for best children novel. Writing a children’s picture book, however, is a new experience for her.
