Aang Muljanto grew up in the congested metropolitan city of Jakarta, Indonesia, and spent several years studying abroad. Falling in love with writing and wanting to be a journalist, Aang ended up working as an advertising copywriter for more than 15 years. After winning several Citra Pariwara Awards for radio scripts, Aang finally decided to take the plunge into writing and publishing children’s books, while dreaming that one day, Indonesian children’s books will be successful on the international market.
